Prize Presentation Ceremony for Longines “Elegance is an attitude” Photo Contest (Hong Kong, 香港)

Thanks to your tremendous support, Longines “Elegance is an attitude” photo contest is completed with huge success. Over 20,000 hit rates were recorded and over 1,200 photos were submitted in three weeks, with over 5,000 online votes were recorded. The prize presentation ceremony was held yesterday at Atrium II, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui which gave a wonderful ending to the activity.

Longines’s ambassador of Elegance, Aaron Kwok and artist Charlie Young were our honorable guests to present fabulous prizes to the winners. Mr. Au Chin Ki, whose photo named “Elegant Dancer”, became champion. Aaron Kwok presented a Longines diamond watch valued at HK$30,000 as well as round-trip air tickets to Paris for 2 people to him on stage. Mr. Huang Qi Lun – the first runner up and Mr. Chan Lai Yin – the second runner up have received a LONGINES watch valued at HK$20,000 and HK$10,000 respectively.

Elegance can be expressed through giving back to the society and charity. In view of this, LONGINES has put the top 10 scoring photos together with elegant photos taken by Wing Shya, Bernice Liu, Pak Ho Chow and Charlie Young in the desktop calendar of year 2011 for charity sale. Photos of Longines’s Ambassador of Elegance, Aaron Kwok and Chiling Lin are included as well. Each calendar is HK$30. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. The charity calendar is printed with both Hong Kong and Mainland Public holiday and is now available for charity sale in all Longines boutiques in Hong Kong.

Today is Aaron Kwok’s birthday and Longines has arranged an iPhone parrot to present a birthday surprise to Aaron in the ceremony. Ms Karen Au Yeung, Vice President of Longines Hong Kong presented a Longines first Heritage Column-Wheel Chronograph rose gold wristwatch valued at HK$62,900 to Aaron to wish him happy birthday.
